our Spam Filtering Service


Q. Do I need to download any software and it install on my computers or server?

A. No! There is no software to download or install.

Q. Do I need to purchase any special hardware or equipment?

A. No! You do not need any additional equipment or hardware to use our filtering service.

Q. Do you have a free trial offer so that I can test your service?

A. Yes. You get 30 days free to try the service and see for yourself how effective our service is at eliminating spam.

Q. Are there any setup fees to get started?

A. No. The only thing you pay for is the monthly service fee which is calculated based on the number of mailboxes your company has.

Q. Do I have to sign any contracts or be locked into any long term arrangement?

No! There are no contracts to sign or long term agreements. We put our money where our mouth is. If you don't like our service you can stop at any time.

Q. I have an email address with my ISP or a free account(@yahoo.com, @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, @aol.com, etc). Can I use your service?

A. Unfortunately, no. This service only works for businesses that own their domain name. We would be happy to provide spam filtering for AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. so please put in a good word for us. :-)

Q. What needs to be done from a technical standpoint to begin using your service?

A. Your MX record will be modified to point to our filtering servers. The filtering servers will then forward all of the clean messages to your email server.

Q. Will I lose any email when the MX record is changed?

A. No! It takes 48 hours for a MX record change to propagate throughout the Internet. During that time, email will continue to be delivered to your email server or to our filtering server. Either way, no messages will be lost.

Q. We use hosted (POP3) mailboxes with our ISP. Can we use your service?

A. Absolutely, as long as the domain name is owned by you. Your mailboxes will be retained on your ISP's server and the MX record will just point to our filtering servers.

Q. Does your service work with Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Groupwise, and other email server software?

A. Yes. As long as your email server software conforms to accepted standards you will have no problem using our service.

Q. We have aliases that point to real mailboxes. Do we have to count them in the number of mailboxes?

A. If they are virtual addresses (no actual mailbox) and they just point to a real mailbox, then you do not count them. However, we do need a list of any aliases so please include that in the comments section on the order form.
